Food will be available for purchase from several food trucks on site throughout the day. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own eclipse viewing munchies to snack on. Alcohol is strictly prohibited and will not be permitted on the property. The following food vendors are currently booked.

Irie Smokehouse - Texas style smoked bbq with a medley of Jamaican flavor.


Redneck Ronin - blends the exotic taste palette of Asia with the treasured traditions of Southern cooking.


Los Dos Hermanos Cocina Latina - South and Central Mexican cuisine.


Raffy Cuisine - jerk chicken, pulled pork or roasted chicken sandwiches.


Kona Ice - flavored, shaved ice.

If you enjoyed spending a few hours with us as the partial eclipse unfolded on October 14, 2023 then you will want to head out to Gardens Park in DWG, TX again on April 8, 2024. While setting up for the eclipse early on the morning of April 8, 2024, only high, thin clouds could be seen. It looked like a glorious day. Then a layer of low clouds moved in, blocking the sky. We kept getting things ready, hoping that the fast moving clouds would be out of the way by 1:40 pm. Thankfully, sometime around noon, those low clouds skedaddled. We did have a few more high clouds than earlier in the day and they were a bit thicker, however most of the time you could see the sun as the moon crossed the sun's disk, beginning at 12:22 pm. About 5 minutes before totality as the moon's shadow raced towards us, a cloud covered the partial eclipse. Luckily it moved out of the way in time to see the total eclipse. It was breathtaking! Everyone agreed it was worth the hype and we were very glad we got the chance to witness it.
